Supply Chain Management
NSH Supply Chain Management provides coordinated material management services and support for the NSH corporate office, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.  This includes centralized contracting, product evaluation, inventory methodologies and enhanced logistics.   The team works closely with administration, finance, information systems and human resources to maximize NSH’s supply chain resources. The Supply Chain Management team has extensive experience and expertise in assisting hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers with their materials management functions including:

Doug Watkins, Vice President of Supply Chain Management

Doug Watkins is the Vice President of Supply Chain Management for NSH with responsibility for overall supply chain efficiencies, process and policy.

His prior experience includes leadership of supply chain operations for MedCath, Inc., a national physician owned healthcare provider focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease as well as several years in contracting and consulting with national Group Purchasing Organizations, medical supply distribution and accounting and financial management.

Mr. Watkins has a BBA in accounting from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
